Extra Forge d.o.o., is a boutique European forging expert specialised in closed die forging of steel and aluminium in small and medium series. We also forge bronze, copper, brass and titanium when a project needs special properties.
We combine more than three decades of forging experience with Industry 4.0 technologies. Our CNC 50 kJ forging hammer and 1000 T screw press work under full digital control, with typical forging accuracy of ±0.2 mm. Every blow, temperature and heat cycle is recorded, which gives complete process traceability and stable quality from batch to batch.
Our engineers support you from the first idea to the ready-to-install part. We help you choose the right material, optimise the geometry for forging and define tolerances, so you get a mechanically safe and economical design. We then manage tool development, forging, heat treatment, machining and surface protection (KTL, galvanizing, zinc coating, anodizing) under one control.
Quality and sustainability are part of our daily work, not only certificates. Our system is based on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, with 3D measurement using Keyence AI optics, digital heat treatment control and continuous monitoring of energy use. By optimising heating cycles we reduced energy consumption by 18 % and CO₂ emissions by 25 %, while keeping full capacity.

We forge carbon, alloy and stainless steels in closed dies, from 0.1 to 7 kg per piece. CNC-controlled hammers and presses deliver accuracy down to ±0.2 mm and high repeatability. Ideal for highly loaded parts in lifting systems, agriculture, machinery and structural applications.
Aluminum
Closed-Die Aluminum Forging
Our closed-die forging of 5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx series alloys covers parts from 0.05 to 6 kg. A 1000 t CNC screw press gives high strength, low weight and stable dimensions for each part. Perfect for e-mobility, energy, architectural and other applications where weight and durability are critical.
